The first annual Sargon Research Summit was held on August 14th and 15th at the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio. According to the more than 70 attendees from all over the country, it was a first of a kind. We would like to thank all those who took the time and effort to travel to make this conference a success. The conference far exceeded our goals.
Several Sargon Research Affiliates were present at the meeting. The Summit strengthened their faith and belief that clinical research can best be done in community oncology practices. Some attendees who are not part of Sargon Research, but at the end many of them want to be part of our organization.
Clinical research has an uncontested value to cancer patients, cancer clinics and practices and to the society at large. An outreach and educational program like the Sargon Research Summit makes that point crystal clear.
Gabrail Cancer Center and Sargon Research intends and plans to build on this great initial success. When we succeed, we raise the bar, and when the bar seems low we raise it further – the sky is the limit.
Dr. Gabrail personally thanks the staff at Gabrail Cancer Center and Sargon Research for a job well done. It did take a village to accomplish this awesome milestone towards the goal of beating the archenemy. We all realize that the task at hand is a formidable one. But, we also believe in the American way, it is the individual effort and zeal that makes the difference towards the betterment of the society and its well being.
Soon you will get a notification for the second Sargon Research Summit 2016, to be held again in our great city, Canton, Ohio. We promise, as always, we will not copy others, neither would we repeat ourselves. Innovation is our way. It is the only way. It is the American way.
